Getting to Know the Class of 2018: Kennedy Knueven

Everyone needs a best friend, and when it comes to Kennedy Knueven her best friend is her grandma Linda Knueven. “She was always there for me because when I was little I had health problems. As we grew older, we became closer,” Knueven said.

In her free time, Knueven likes to read and write poetry. When she is older, she would like to be a third-grade teacher because she enjoys working with kids. When she was younger she wanted to work at a zoo. Getting good grades and being a good role model to her sister Bre are two things Knueven said she is proud of.

Her favorite childhood memory is from first grade when she stayed inside during recess and played on her teacher’s computer. Her favorite place to be is Okoboji or Branson, MO. Knueven said that on a previous trip to Branson, she played mini golf and went swimming at the campsite. She also enjoyed going on the roller coasters and Ferris wheel. This was one of her favorite memories she has made with her grandma.
