Throughout his four years of high school, Jacob Redler has been involved in a wide variety of activities, including swimming, football, choir, show choir and tennis. After graduation, Redler plans to go to college and become a civil engineer.

Redler has two siblings: Sydney and Karsten. His favorite color is silver and he drives a 2004 red Chevy Impala. Redler said his favorite pastime is “cruising with Kole.” One of his favorite memories was with his best friend, Gratt Reed, when they ran the spotlight for the middle school play.

Redler’s favorite activity is downhill skiing. “There is no place I’d rather be right now than at the top of a mountain,” Redler said. While reminiscing on this topic, Redler spoke about a time when his lift pass expired and he still had one day remaining for his trip, so he had to find a way to be able to keep skiing. He didn’t want to have to buy another day, so luckily he was able to borrow a pass from someone else on the trip. After it seemed he had found his solution, he quickly made his way back to the lift. However, when it came time for his turn to board the lift, his pass was scanned per usual but the ski patrol scanning the passes had a puzzled look on his face, and asked, “Whose pass is this man?” Redler told him it was his, but apparently, the name on the card read “Christina,” so the ski patrol asked Redler who Christina was. “I go by Chris but my full name is Christina,” Redler replied.

“To make a long story short,” Redler said, “I did not make it on the lift that day.”
