Trojan Boys’ Track Wins Harlan Ken Carsten Relays
On Tuesday, April 10, the Trojan Boys’ track team traveled to Harlan for a 16 team meet. They won with 111 points with Harlan placing second with 96.
Atlantic won six events, finished second in four others. Senior Gratt Reed won both his hurdle events. He ran 14.84 in the 110 meter hurdles and came in with a 54.71 in the 400 hurdles.
Freshman Craig Allen Becker won the 800 meter run with a 2:02. Senior Jaxson Eden won the mile and ran his best time of the year so far with a 4:47.15.
Two relays took home first place. Those were the distance medley and the 4×200. The distance medley came in with a time of 3:34, which will be good enough for the Drake Relays later this month.
The next meet is Thursday, April 12, at Abraham Lincoln.
