Junior Akhat Suleimenov is hosting a fundraiser from now until April 16 at the Atlantic High School. The fundraiser is to raise money and collect food for hunger issues here in our community. The goal is to help families who are struggling with money, who don’t have enough food or who are unable to feed themselves and their families. The AHS foods classes are baking muffins for the fundraiser, and the muffins are available to purchase for $10. Anyone who would like to help can donate food to the project, donate money to the Atlantic Food Pantry and spread information to neighbors, friends and relatives via Facebook or other social media. Suleimenov’s project is coordinated with Global Youth Service Day, which is part of his WorldLink exchange program.
