A power outage that affected certain areas of Atlantic on Thursday, resulted in a short outage at AHS from 11:54 a.m. to 12:25 p.m. The cause of the outage remains unknown at this time.

During the period of time, students stayed with their respective 5th period classes. As the lights and wifi were out, classes found other ways to occupy their time. Some watched movies, played games, or did alternative activities that were relevant to the current curriculum.
