On Friday, Jan. 12, the Trojans will travel to Lewis Central. The Trojans are coming off a win against Glenwood and hope to improve their win streak to five games.

The Trojans are going up against a Lewis Central team who has had its ups and downs but is sitting at 4-6 and is placed eighth in the Hawkeye 10. The Trojans are currently 7-4 and are tied for first with Glenwood and Harlan.

Lewis Central is led by junior Cole Jensen who is averaging 12.6 ppg. He is also the team’s leading rebounder, averaging 7.1 rpg. The Titans have balance as two other players also average double digits in points per game.

The Trojans are led by senior Scott Leonard who averages 15.9 ppg and 9.1 rpg. Fellow senior Austin Alexander is right behind him with 15.7 ppg.

The game will tip off at 7.30 p.m. at Lewis Central High School.
