AHS Dance Team Fundraises for Trip to State Competition
Raffle and donations will fund the team.
The AHS Dance Team has begun fundraising for their trip to the State Dance Competition in December. This year is the biggest team in the five years they have been a club with a total of 18 members on the team. With the fee per person and other fees, state will cost around $400. The dance team would also like to make money for costumes, food and travel fees. Not only are they taking money donations, but they will also be receiving items to put in their raffle.
The dance team will be raffling off items donated from local business such as Akins, Tan N Glo, and Designer Portraits. Raffle tickets will be sold in the parking lot near the Trojan Tailgate during homecoming. Tickets will cost $5 for 3 tickets and $3 for 2. Later this semester the team will be hosting a bake sale at Coca Cola Days to supplement their fundraising.
