Nicole Kinney is planning on attending Iowa Western and major in nursing, but when she was younger she wanted to become a teacher. She decided to go into nursing because she likes to help people. She would have liked to participate in the national guard, but she is unable to because of her back problems. She had to go through spinal fusion surgery when she was younger and this event is what she is most proud of.

Another memorable moment in Kinney’s life was when her step dad adopted her and her brother. In the next ten years, she is hoping to be successful. Her biggest role models are her parents because “they have overcome so many obstacles and are doing just fine.” Her brother has also had an impact on her life. He has pushed her to do her best. Her most cherished family memory was road tripping to North Carolina to see her older brother graduate basic training.

If Kinney was to win the lottery, she would put the money in a savings account, and if she won 1 million dollars she would pay her parents’ bills and put the rest of the money toward her nephew’s college fund. If she was able to have a superpower she would choose invisibility “so I could trip people.” Kinney wants to be remembered as “the one no one messed with.
