Samuel Barkley participated in football his freshman year, alongside soccer, but has only stuck to soccer for all four years. He has also sported the blue jacket by being a part of FFA for two years. His favorite activity has been soccer. “I love it. I’ve played it my whole life- I just love it.”

After graduating, Barkley plans to go straight into the workforce to “figure out what I want to do,” and then possibly go to college. When he was younger, Barkley aspired to be a farmer, following in his father’s footsteps. If he won a million dollars, he would “invest it on prorail.”

Although Barkley has many role models, his father has been the biggest in his life. “He’s helped me get through my life, and has just been there for me every step of the way. He’s a loving man, and I love him.” Eric Wieser has been the most influential person on his life. Barkley is very proud of his twin sister, Morgan.

In ten years, Barkley hopes to be happy and successful. If he could have a superpower, he would be able to change time. If he had this power, he would go back to age three and “relive my whole life. I don’t want to get old.” His favorite book includes, “Everybody poops.”
