Students don’t think about teachers’ personal lives. They only see what teachers show at school. Have you ever thought of who they really are and what they do?

Special education teacher, Mandi Brauer, likes to sell for a company called “Works.”  She also enjoys working out, eating, hanging out with her kids and her husband. She she also loves to travel.

When asked what she likes to do for fun, Brauer said, “I’m fun myself.” Besides that, she likes to go to the city, and play Uno, checkers, board games, and card games with her children, James who is 6 years old, and Jonathan who is 3.

Brauer has two sisters, Shannessy, and Shelby. Brauer grew up and went to Anita High School, and then attended Northwest Missouri State University.

Brauer’s favorite tv shows include “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Chicago Fire,” and “This is Us.”

She says her favorite place to shop is online. She is a fan of the Stitch Fix brand. If Brauer were to win $1 million, she would pay off debt and invest in stocks. She would also talk to her financial planner and follow their investment advice.

Outside of school, English teacher Allison Berryhill loves to read, take care of her daughters, and also take care of her dogs. Berryhill’s hobbies include writing her blog, playing piano, and playing Ping Pong.
