September 29, 2016
Last year’s yearbooks for 2015-16 are expected to arrive on Oct. 4! On Oct. 5 a yearbook party will be held in the library during seminar. There will be plenty of snacks to enjoy. Anyone will be able to purchase last year’s yearbook if you haven’t already bought one, they will be $55. Also, the 2016-17 yearbook will be on sale for $45 until Oct. 20, so buy your yearbook as soon as possible before the price goes up! There will also be games to play, face painting by Junior Emily Schreiner and Senior Jena Brosam, and a chance to win a free yearbook!
Adviser Allison Berryhill said, “We haven’t done a distribution party before but I think it’s a great way to celebrate the book, and it is also a good way to build enthusiasm for this years book. There is probably about 1500 hours of work that goes into a yearbook, so we want our party to celebrate the work we’ve done and the product made by the students for the students.”
“It was so fun setting up this party with my journalism friend Mycala, and I am excited to put it all together on the day of the party. I hope everyone comes to either get their yearbook, or to buy last years,” said junior Kylie Proehl.
