Fire Alarm Fiasco Causes Students to Go Out in the Cold
February 18, 2016
On the morning of Tuesday Feb. 16, the fire alarms were set off by the shop class’s foundry during first and second period. A foundry melts metal into liquid so it can be poured into a mold. The alarms were set off a total of three times, which were all false alarms.
Many students were upset that the alarm went off multiple times and caused them to go into the cold multiple times. Sophomore Heather Freund said, “I was kind of mad because I had to go out into the cold and I wasn’t prepared for that at all.” The periods were already short because of conferences, but the unplanned drill caused first and second period classes to be even shorter.
But don’t worry everyone, the school is still perfectly in tact and not at all burned.

Fiasco is a rather dramatic. It was a controlled instance. Is there a purpose for this article other than complaining about the weather or the nuisance of a fire alarm? On a positive note this is one less fire drill for the school year.
