Sunday two “very vague” statements concerning the safety of school were made on Yik Yak in the surrounding area. The yaks were  “not enough to be a credible threat” said Principal Heather McKay.

Although the district has not yet made a formal statement about the incident, McKay said students would be kept informed.

When asked the content of the yak, McKay said, “I’m not sure what I’m formerly allowed to comment at this time.”  But what she said was for sure is “I HATE YIK YAK!”

“It’s going to be a normal Monday. Everybody is going to be safe. That’s what I’m going to say, it’s going to be a great day!” McKay said
