American Idol

American Idol used to be THE singing competition show everyone watched. It stayed popular many years, up until more singing competition shows came on air. The show started with well-known, iconic judges like Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Paula Abdul. Since then, they have gone through many judges and all of the originals have left the show. The only person who has remained from the start is Ryan Seacrest. Also, the rating of the show has dropped dramatically since the start. Junior Emily Hohenberger said, “I used to watch it, but stopped because it’s not that good anymore. I prefer to watch The Voice.” American Idol is getting ready to kick-off their final season on Jan. 6, 2015.
