Monday evening, the Trojan wrestling team hosted Glenwood and St. Albert for a double dual, also honoring the seniors with Senior Night. The Trojans were defeated by the Glenwood Rams 49-27 then came back and dominated St. Albert, racking up a score of 66-3.

Wins against the Rams came from freshman Kole Hansen, sophomore Carter Cox, junior Keagan Hosfelt, and seniors Austin WIlliamson and Skyler Svoboda. Hansen won by fall over Tanner Maxwell, Cox received a forfeit, Hosfelt won by fall over Mitch Stanley, Williamson won by decision (6-1) against Nate Nebel, and Svoboda won by fall over Dan Forbes.

The Trojans only gave up three points against St. Albert, with big wins coming from Hansen, Cox, and sophomore Drake Roller. Hansen won by fall over Seth Noel, Cox won by fall over Charles Doll, and Roller won by fall over Elijah Finn. Others won by decision and forfeits. Senior Tyler Thomas received a win by default because of disqualification of the opponent from an illegal hit.

The Trojans will travel to Adel on Saturday for a tournament at ADM High School, it is set to begin at 10 a.m.
