Zane Brownsberger, Broadcasting

Junior Zane Brownsberger works as an anchor for the Eye of the Needle broadcasting team. He spends his time in class presenting news and producing videos. Brownsberger is a “really fun guy,” and his peers would say the same thing about him.

Brownsberger loves riding dirt bikes and playing golf. He will be participating with the team in the upcoming golf season. This is his second year in journalism, and his favorite memory so far is  “throwing myself down a hill for our intro.”

Brownsberger's uniqueness shows in his two different colored eyes, which is a condition called Heterochromia Iridis. Other than being a fun person, he enjoys writing too. According to Brownsberger, the best thing he has written so far are journals for Ms. Berryhill’s English class.

He enjoys the amount of autonomy Berryhill gives the journalism classes, “it makes me feel much more involved.” Brownsberger looks up to his dad because he is a hard worker, and he is growing to be a hard worker as well.

The class is limited to ten students which allows for an ample amount of one on one instruction with myself and students, Dodson said. The class hopes to build cool projects for the school and the community.

This year, the Building Trades class will add a door and paint the shed. After this shed is completely done, they hope to start a new one. Pictured is Gannon OHara.

If students are interested in construction as a trade after high school, this is the class for them. With teamwork and hands-on learning, it is a great opportunity for students to work in a real shop environment. Pictured is Zach Colton and Devin Wood.
