Olivia Olson, Junior Broadcasting Editor
Olivia Olson is a junior editor of the Eye of the Needle broadcasting team and photographer. Her proudest accomplishments from journalism have been coming up with great enjoyable, and funny ideas for EON, and “the way I have grown in taking photos,” said Olson. Her favorite part of journalism is the “freedom of creativity,” especially in the broadcasting department while coming up with bits and the ability to put their own “spin” on things.
Outside of journalism Olson has been involved in FFA, choir, band, marching band, girls basketball managing, volleyball, track and field, 4H, youth action committee, youth council for Cass county, 75th fair planning committee, state and national event for 4H congress, dance Atlantic, church bell choir at Atlantic Methodist, AHS fuel, and NHS.
A big part of Olson’s life are friends, family, and sports. She has actively been involved in all kinds of sports since she was a young. “When I’m not in sports, I don’t know what to do with myself,” said Olson. “But family and friends are at the top of the list because I wouldn’t be where I am at, or even here without them.”
