By venturing into journalism, sophomore Lexie Dvorak is trying something new. More than anything she wants to learn effectively in a team, hoping to develop strong collaborative skills.  

Dvorak finds joy in casual things. Sleeping and eating are on the top of her list, followed by the comfort in her own home surrounded by friends and family. She enjoys watching movies and going on vacation. Just recently she returned from a trip to Alabama on Jan. 3. 

Family is a big part of Dvorak’s life. She has three siblings, an older sister named Mattie and two younger siblings, a sister named Kamrie and a brother named Lane. Her parents, Nichole and Josh, along with their great dane named Diesel, complete the family.
