Sophomore Knox McCalla started journalism at the beginning of this school year. His sisters Genevieve and Eleanor are the ones who got him into journalism. McCalla is most proud of his senior stories because they were “fun and manageable” for him. McCalla wants to keep writing stories and to “hopefully” become the Lead Editor for Senior Magazine. In addition to journalism McCalla is a part of the Chamber Chorale Choir and theater as an actor and stage manager. McCalla was a stage manager for the musical “Mamma Mia” and he worked on technology and as a stagehand for “Cinderella” and “New Kids At Vampire High.” He will also have the role of a juror in the upcoming spring play “12 Angry Men.” Outside of school McCalla draws, designs graphics, and plays guitar and ukulele.  McCalla also writes, directs, edits, films, and produces movies. One movie he has made is “Michael Nation: The Movie,” and he has two more in the works: “Jason Nation: The Next Sensation,” and “Flash Before Your Eyes.”
