Zii Nath, Broadcasting
Senior Zii Nath joined the broadcasting team this year as a video editor. Before joining journalism, they attended CAM high school’s digital media class which contains a lot of the same ideas as broadcast journalism in Atlantic. While in broadcasting, they helped with editing videos such as the GSA video and the Best of SNO awarded “What Students Wish Teachers Knew.” “I enjoy being able to take ideas and execute them in a way that everyone enjoys,” Nath said. With help from the journalism community, they hope to improve their video editing skills as well as their “people skills.”
Nath has a passion for the fine arts program as they have been involved in show choir, concert choir, band, jazz band, spring play, drama, speech, debate, and journalism in high school. One possession of theirs they would never give away would be their trumpet as it was a gift that meant a lot to them.
Others would say that Nath likes to keep themselves busy. They are hard-working and dedicated when it comes to their journalism work. Outside of school, they have a strong relationship with their mother and their girlfriend, Nim. Nath would describe themselves as “helpful, awkward, and introverted.”
