Sophomore Ellie Benning is a staff writer for the AHS journalism department. Benning loves to learn all of the fascinating things there are about journalism and also enjoys the environment. Benning’s favorite activities in class include taking pictures and writing senior stories.

Even though Benning is content with journalism, she has a desire to go to cosmetology school so she can learn more about doing hair for others. Not only is hair one of her interests, but she also plays sports such as volleyball, basketball, and running track. “I love playing sports with my friends,” Benning said. Furthermore, Benning like to hang out with friends she also likes to be with her two younger brothers Webb and Dax.
