Aubrey Guyer

Aubrey Guyer, Broadcasting

Junior Aubrey Guyer is an “independent, helpful, and hard-working student,” who is involved in AHS journalism. Her favorite part about journalism is “the teacher and the freedom that we have.” Guyer has been participating in journalism for two years. Her main roles include broadcasting, fine arts, and ads. “My favorite article that I have written is an opinion piece about harmful stereotypes,” she said.

While in high school, Guyer has also stayed busy with volleyball, basketball, soccer, and AHS Fuel. Guyer may be a star on the court, on the field, and in the classroom, but many may not know she also has a talent for astrology. She said she can look at a person and guess their zodiac sign.

Guyer said her role models are her mom and sister because they are “very hardworking, strong, and independent.” Friends would describe Guyer as “a helpful friend, confident, and independent.” If she could switch houses with someone for a day, Guyer would choose Miley Cyrus “just because she's super cool.” Something Guyer would never give up would be her dogs.  “I love to nap with them.”
