Applications are now available for those who are interested in applying for National Honor Society. Juniors and seniors who have a 3.0 GPA are eligible to apply by completing a Student Activity Resume.
A meeting was held on Wednesday, Oct. 10, during Seminar for those who met the 3.0 GPA requirement. Roughly 30 students attended. The meeting, led by math teacher Shelia Hayden and eight NHS members, talked to the applicants about what NHS means to them.
“NHS is a group of quality kids doing quality work,” said Caroline Trewet, a senior NHS member.
The applications must be turned in by Oct. 18, at 3:30 p.m. Acceptance and denial letters will be sent out by mail, and induction will be Nov. 11.
