The Trojann volleyball team will open their season tonight, Aug. 30 when they head to Denison to battle the Monarchs. The freshman and JV teams will bee playing at 5:45 p.m. and the varsity is starting at 7:30 p.m. Local fans watched the team’s intra-squad scrimmage on Aug. 17. This is the team’s second year under the coaching direction of Chris Jahnke. Last year’s team record was 6 – 23.
