Most football teams do not get to experience a play-off game. When the Trojans headed to Boyden-Hull-Rock-Valley on Oct. 31, 2011, local videographer Gerry Hayes was determined to capture the emotion and memories from the game. The result of his effort is “2011 Football Playoff,” a six-minute video that highlights the experience from start to finish.Hayes has been recording high school events for 19 years, but he thought the opportunity to get to the playoffs called for a different approach. This is the first time he prepared a video in this format.Hayes said his attempt in filming was to go with the flow. He wanted to get the team’s demeanor.
