The Atlantic boys golf team hosted the 2011 Hawkeye 10 conference golf meet at the Atlantic Golf and Country Club May 7. The Trojans placed third. Sophomore Sam Markham placed seventh individually at the meet. Freshman Sam Renaud placed 10. “(It was) a nice windy day,” according to coach Ed Den Beste, “We had our shot of beating Kuemper but we didn’t take advantage.” The Trojans took third behind the Kuemper Knights and the Harlan Cyclones.
