Riley Hansen, JP Student
Riley Hansen is a junior editing student this year. Hansen knew she wanted to give journalism a shot because she likes taking photos and “getting people together.” They love taking photos down at the EOC where they spend some of their schooling, and they can’t wait to have a page in the yearbook to work on this year. She’s very passionate about her photography, and can’t wait to see some of her pictures on a page.
In their free time, Hansen likes to volunteer at the local animal shelter and help clean for people who have extra needs because she likes doing what she can to make people happy. She also has quite a few siblings that look up to her. Once she graduates, Hansen wants to be a CNA.
Hansen’s favorite memories consist of taking photos down at the EOC because “the kids are very expressive!”

Lily Willrich, JP Student
Sophomore Lily Willrich joined journalism in the first semester of her sophomore year and is now going on to her second semester. She was captivated by the idea due to conversations with previous students and “wanted to join to learn more about photography.” Willrich likes meeting new people through journalism and plans to join the social media team next year as a junior editor. She also wants to further her education in photography.
Outside of journalism, Willrich is in extracurricular activities such as archery, volleyball, FFA, student council, and her favorite tennis. She is an avid varsity tennis player. Willrich attends many tennis camps while also being an instructor.
Willrich loves yellow; she also enjoys reading, listening to music, and spending time with friends and family. After high school Willrich plans either to become a physical therapist or to travel to Europe for a year following her senior year of high school.

Brynn Lamp, JP Student
Shopmore Brynn Lamp is a JP journalism student. Lamp’s favorite part of being involved in journalism is taking pictures. She enjoys the experiences she has gained and what she has learned from using the cameras. She said she isn’t picky on the type of photos she takes, she is just willing to whenever she can. Some memories and experiences she has enjoyed are “Learning a lot about journalism that I didn’t know before and the outlook on how it really works” Lamp said.
Lamp is involved in many outside of school activities, such as softball, volleyball, basketball and track. She is very busy and keeps a high standard of herself while involved in these sports, to obtain the goals she has set for herself.
When she does have free time in her busy schedule she likes to hang out with her friends and make memories with them. Lamps future plans are to attend college and either become a nurse anesthetist or an orthodontist.
Lamp is excited to see what the rest of journalism looks like for her and what new memories and experiences she can make to finish out the semester.
