Payton Burg, Social Media Junior Editor
Payton Burg, a junior, is a part of the Instagram and social media department within AHS journalism. Burg loves showing the kids how “cool” AHS can be by showing off the school. Her sister, Taylor, was also a part of Journalism, and she was a key factor in sparking Payton’s interest in joining, as well as some of her friends pushing her to join. Her favorite thing about being a part of the department is going around the school and interviewing kids, she said, “It’s a great way to get them involved.” She likes how much creativity she can have while posting.  Outside of AHS, Burg is a part of the football cheer team, which she has been cheering for for two years. She has worked at Dance Atlantic and has participated in dance there for as long as she can remember.
