Garrett VanHorn, Videographer
Senior Garret VanHorn is 18 years old. He enjoys doing interviews for journalism so he can "get to know people.” VanHorn enjoys gardening and has grown Iceberg Roses, strawberries, and peppers. He uses the fruits and vegetables grown for cooking, which is another interest for VanHorn. According to him, his friend JJ McDaniel said his “chicken parm is the bomb." After graduating, he plans to earn a culinary degree at Kirkwood College. His interest in cooking grew stronger from Rebecca Wallace's classes and the Babish Culinary Universe channel on YouTube.
In VanHorn's free time, he likes to do art using acrylic paint. He looks at other pictures and adds his own twist to them. VanHorn is also involved in archery, and soccer, and soon plans on starting a job at Walmart.
