Atlantic-CAM Shows Success at Red Owens Holiday Classic

The Atlantic-CAM Trojans come back with more runner-up finishes from seniors Chase McLaren and Connor Pellett.

Three runner-up finishes for the Atlantic-CAM Trojans this weekend at the Southeast Polk Red Owens Holiday Classic. The team ended the night in fourth place out of 11 teams.

Seniors Chase McLaren and Connor Pellett earned runner-up finishes along with junior Cale Roller. Ending the night in third place was junior Aybren Moore, followed in fourth place by freshman Kadin Stutzman. Four Trojans secured fifth place finishes including freshman Garrett McLaren, sophomores Joe Weaver and Steele McLaren and senior Mitchell Williamson. Sophomore Payton Fewson ended in sixth and senior Kenny Jimerson finished the night in ninth.

The Trojans will compete at OA-BCIG on Tuesday, Dec. 18 for a quadrangular meet, facing off against the OA-BCIG Falcons, the Logan-Magnolia Panthers and the Woodbine Tigers.
