Ethan Halterman likes to take it easy, living a laid-back life. He lives with his dad Nat, mom Andrea and little sister Edyn. In his free time, he enjoys playing video games, going to the YMCA, working and hanging with friends. He hopes to move on with his life into college.

Halterman plans to take on a community college for two years and then transfer to UNI to major in education. He said he would be open to teaching whatever a school needs and wants a job that earns an “easy” income and to “live a quiet life.” When he was younger, Halterman wanted to be a clinical psychologist but that dream faded when he found out that it requires 12 years of schooling.

Something that changed Halterman’s life was the birth of his little sister. His favorite success is “being unkillable; cannot die.” Someone that has really impacted Halterman’s life would be “my boyfriend Scott, he’s a pretty cool dude.”
