On July 18, 2018, Jessica Williams will head to Army National Guard basic training at Fort Sill, Okla. and from there, she will go to Fort Sam in Texas for AIT training. Once she completes her training, Williams plans to take some time off to relax and then attend the University of Northern Iowa in the fall of 2019. She would like to study for her BSN or RN degree.

While in high school, Williams participated in cheerleading and dance team, as well as dancing with Dance Atlantic. Her favorite memory was football cheerleading. “It was just fun to cheer with the girls,” Williams said.

Spending time outdoors, especially fishing, is something Williams enjoys. Lewis Lake is one of her preferred fishing spots, and she remembers “all the fish I caught last summer.”
