As a little girl, Isabella Mase always wanted to be a truck driver. “My grandpa used to drive a semi and I would stay with him for days to weeks at a time,” Mase said. Her memories traveling the roads with her grandpa have stuck with her, as they were “a ton of fun.”

However, as Mase entered high school her plans to be a truck driver changed. She has enjoyed taking cooking classes and classes with English teacher Emma Bireline and plans to attend Iowa Western Community College to become a dental assistant.

Mase is the oldest of three children and also the only girl. She has a small but “very connected” family that includes her younger brothers Nick and Xander and her mom Angie. Mase said she doesn’t have a hobby but her favorite thing to do is “play with my cat and listen to music.” She is employed at Atlantic Specialty Care where she enjoys working with the residents.
