Madelyn Williams is the daughter of Matt and Jenny Williams and she has one older brother, Alex. In her free time, Williams enjoys being a member of Dance Atlantic. She likes dance because of the people and her instructor Ricci Spriggs and has been dancing for 11 years. She is involved in tap, jazz and ballet, and said, “My favorite dance is jazz because I like the music choices and it has everything combined in it.” Williams also has a job at Brown’s Shoe Fit, where she helps customers “puts shoes on people’s feet.”

“Winning Homecoming my senior year was my favorite high school memory,” Williams said. She enjoyed this moment because the Trojans hadn’t won since 2012 so it was “great to be a part of.”

Going to Mexico with her mother is Williams’s favorite place because “it’s a lot more beautiful than Iowa and I love the beach and the ocean.” According to Williams, the Gulf of Mexico also has the “prettiest water.” In addition to going to Mexico, Williams and her mother share many interests such as shopping and going on vacations.

Williams plans to attend Northwest Missouri State University to major in elementary education. When she was younger, she wanted to be a dermatologist because she found it interesting. However, she now wants to be a teacher because she loves children and would like to teach fourth and fifth grade.
