These days most people can find Zachary Butler in his room watching any horror movie on Netflix or looking after his three sisters Jocelyn, Zoey and Harper. Butler lives with his mom and her boyfriend along with his siblings.

As a child, Butler wanted to be a veterinarian. However, he is now unsure of what he would like to pursue after high school.

The most influential person in Butler’s life has been art teacher Pat Wiederien. Though Butler has just recently begun to pursue his artistic abilities, he said he has instantly taken a knack to it. Butler identifies his biggest success as “probably something I’ve done in the art room,” and is unable to pick just one piece he’s created throughout his time in the art program. Even though Butler has taken the class before in previous school years, he feels that this year has been more exciting and led him to “love” the experience.
