In a defensive game against Harlan, the Trojans kept the Cyclones at 0-0 at halftime. They held their ground until minute 60 of the game, giving up the first of three goals. At minutes 72 and 78, the Cyclones scored again, ending the game 3-0.

Head coach Justin Williams said, “Around minute 20 of the match we had a handball in the box and Clayton Jipsen was able to have a great save that kept the score 0-0.” Jipsen had a total of 12 saves in the game. Williams also said defenders Trey Cappel, Evan Brummer, Jackson Mullin, Dawson Dreager, Nathan Brockman and Zach McKay were “really solid for us on Friday night.” The Trojans took eight shots on goal against Harlan.

This game was played following a record broken in the previous game against Nodaway Valley. Senior Brady Dickerson scored a total of 6 goals, breaking the single-game scoring record previously held by 2015 graduate Matt Smith. The Trojans won that game with a score of 9-1.
