Getting to Know the Class of 2018: Joshua Rossell

Senior Spotlight featuring Joshua Rossell

Braden Bean

Most people would remember Joshua Rossell for his laid-back style and funny sense of humor. While in high school, Rossell was involved with tennis as well as FFA and NHS.

In his free time, Rossell enjoys hanging out with his best friends Braden Bean and Matt St. John. He also likes to do a variety of outdoor activities. During the winter, Rossell and his friends meet up for early morning coyote hunting despite the fact that they rarely get any. “We don’t do it for the ‘yotes,’” Rossell said, “we just do it to freeze our butts off.”

During the summer Rossell is employed at RossMar Farms LLC and he does a variety of jobs there. “Some days can be very difficult, but in the end, it always pays off,” Rossell said.

Typically a senior will either finish out the school year or graduate early, but Rossell opted for a different and unique way to spend his last semester of high school. Rossell worked as an intern for the Governor’s office in the State Capitol, and his job involved assisting staff members with projects and aiding administrative assistants with constituent services.
