Boys’ Track Competes at Abraham Lincoln
On Thursday, April 12, the Trojans traveled to Abraham Lincoln to run against 13 other teams. Atlantic placed fourth with 77 team points.
The Trojans went to the meet attempting to qualify a couple of events for the Drake Relays, including the 4×200, open 200, and 4×100.
The 4×200 qualified and also broke the school record with a time of 1:30.64. The previous record was 1:30.81. Senior Gratt Reed also qualified in the open 200 with a time of 22.67. The 4×100 did not qualify.
Senior Jaxson Eden won the mile with a time of 4:44 and freshman Craig Allen Becker came in second with 4:46.
Junior Chase Mullenix won the open 400 in a time of 50.67 seconds.
The next meet is Tuesday, April 17, at Lewis Central.
