Trojan Boys Track Takes Second at Glenwood

Last night, April 5, the Trojan boys track team traveled to Glenwood for the Glenwood Invitational that included 15 teams. Atlantic took home second and scored 113 points on the meet.

To start off the meet, the sprint med posted a time of 1:36.14 and placed 3rd. That time was good enough to qualify for the Drake Relays. The 4×800 won with a time of 8:25 with a squad of Jaxson Eden, Craig Allen Becker, Nathan Behrends, and Chase Mullenix.

Senior Gratt Reed won the 110 hurldes with a time of 14.65. Mullenix and Becker also placed first and second in the open 800. Eden won the mile with a time of 4:47, and Bradley Dennis placed 5th with a 4:55. The 4×400 relay ended the night placing 2nd with a time of 3:26. This time is also good enough to qualify for the Drake Relays.

The next meet is April 9, in Harlan.
