The Atlantic Community Schools were closed Monday, Feb. 19, due to inclement weather. Freezing rain caused the roads to become icy and too dangerous for school busses and students to drive on.

Another round of freezing rain came last night causing ACSD to have a two-hour delay today. The announcement was posted on twitter as well as KJAN.

The boys’ first round of regionals was one event not cancelled last night. The Trojans beat the Monarchs 68-51 at Glenwood. Senior Austin Alexander led the Trojans with 25 points. The Trojans will play in the second round of regionals against the Glenwood Rams on Thursday, Feb 22.
