Last night, Feb. 12, the Trojans traveled to Creston and took down the Panthers with a final score of 72-66.

The Trojans opened the game up 22-17 at the end of the first quarter, but the Panthers came back in the second quarter and took a three-point lead at half, making the score 35-32.

In the third quarter, Creston only scored five points to the Trojans’ 21. Atlantic held a 53-40 lead at the end of the third.

Creston outscored the Trojans by seven in the fourth but it wasn’t enough. The final score was Trojans 72 Panthers 66.

The leading scorer for Atlantic was senior Scott Leonard with 27 points.

Their next game is at Denison on Thursday. Tip-off is at 7:30 p.m.
