Last night, Jan. 30, the Trojans got their tenth win of the season and knocked off No. 9 Harlan.

Harlan put the first points on the board with a three by senior Logan Claassen and then another quick two. The Trojans settled in and by the end of the first quarter, the score was 15-13, in favor of the Trojans.

Atlantic managed to outscore the Cyclones by 10 in the second quarter and by half they had a 12 point lead. At the break, the score was 35-23.

In the third quarter, the Trojans again outscored the Cyclones by double digits and stretched their lead to 21 before the end of the quarter.

Harlan outscored the Trojans by 13 in the fourth quarter, but it wasn’t enough. The final score was Atlantic 70 Harlan 62.

Senior Austin Alexander was the leading scorer for the Trojans with 18 points. Atlantic had four other Trojans in double digits.

The next game is Monday, Feb. 5, in Creston.
