On Monday, Jan. 22 girls’ basketball will travel to Treynor to take on the Cardinals.

The Trojans are coming into the game with a 2-13 record, with their second win coming over Clarinda last Friday 61-44.

They are led by sophomore Mckenzie Waters who is averaging 8.1 ppg. Junior Baylee Newell is right behind her, averaging 8.0 ppg. Senior Cheyenne Elliot is the team’s leading rebounder, who has 75 total.

Treynor is coming into the game with a 14-1 record. They are led by junior Kayla Chapman, who averages 17.1 ppg. Two other teammates also average in the double digits for scoring.

Tip off is at 7:30 p.m.
