The boys’ golf team is on to state for the second year in a row after winning at their home course Friday, May 19. They had a team score of 309. ADM came in second with a score of 321 and Norwalk was third with a 323.
Junior Ben Renaud was the medalist for the Trojans. He shot a four over par score of 73. Senior Jake Olsen came in third place with a 76. Senior Nate Gifford shot a 78.
Coach Den Beste said, “It was good that we were on our home course today.  Jake has some struggles with his shots today. Good to see him work hard to shoot a 76.  Ben played well today.  I know he would like to play number 9 over but great score in tough conditions”.  Den Beste said is looking forward to playing at Livermore.
The State Meet will kick off Friday, May 26 in Livermore.
