Bailey Steffens’ favorite activity that she has participated in her years at Atlantic High School is art. She plans to attend Paul Mitchell in Lincoln Nebraska to study cosmetology and said, “It’s already something I enjoy doing, so I thought I would enjoy doing that for the rest of my life.” When she was younger Steffens wanted to be a vet and work at the pound but changed her mind when her mom told her she would have to go to school for seven years.

Steffens lives with her mom and stepdad, her brother Logan, and her dog Mitzi and says the the person who influences her the most is her grandmother because, “she thinks I am great no matter what.” Her grandmother is also her role model because, “she doesn’t need a lot to be happy.”

In school, Steffens has participated in art and cheerleading and said the art teacher Pat Wiederien has had the biggest impact on her because she helped her grow as an artist.

Steffens’ favorite school memory was when Dustin Jones tried to do a front flip off of Denison’s bleachers at a high school football game, landed on his back and then proceeded to projectile vomit all over. In ten years Bailey Steffens hopes to be happy.
