Getting to Know the Class of 2017: Damon Miller
Senior spotlight featuring Damon Miller.
May 19, 2017
Senior Damon Miller has participated in baseball, basketball, swimming, track and football; football being his favorite. Miller lives with his dad, mom, younger sister Cambry and has a pet dog, Riley.
Miller’s future plans are to attend Purdue for professional flight. His family’s reaction to getting his pilot’s license is his most memorable moment. Being a pilot has been what Miller has wanted to do since “day one.” He decided to further his career in professional flight because he loves flying, and being a commercial pilot he can get paid to do it every day.
Prior to living in Atlantic, Miller went to Waukee until 1st grade. Miller’s favorite high school memory was his senior year homecoming dance. Miller said his parents have been his most influential people during his high school career. Ms. Hayden has made the most impact on his high school career. He is most of proud of his family and what they have done for him.
If Miller won the lottery, he would “put it in the bank and use it to pay cash for everything through life instead of getting loans.”
