On Friday, May 12, the boys golf team traveled to Denison for Sectionals and won with a team score of 310. ADM came in second place with a 319.

Senior Jake Olsen was the medalist with a score two-over-par 73. Olsen had to make a 10 foot putt on the last hole to win the tournament. Junior Ben Renaud and freshman Cyle Renaud had the second best scores coming into the clubhouse for the Trojans. They both shot a 78.

Coach Den Beste said, “Another great day to play golf.  75 with a light breeze.  Jake played well. Had a great up and down on 18 after hitting over the green.  Ben struggled but finished with a birdie and a solid score”.

The next tournament is Districts at the Atlantic Golf and Country Club, Friday, May 19.
