Boys’ Golf Wins Denison Invitational

Last Friday, the Trojans took first place at Majestic Hills in Denison with a team score of 302. Glenwood was second with a 317.
Junior Ben Renaud and Senior Jake Olsen placed 2nd and 3rd respectively with scores of 74, which is a three over par. Zac Stork finished his round with a 77 . He placed 6th place overall Coach Den Beste said,” Jake hit two out on 2 but still finishes with a 74. Had 5 birdies today. Ben was disappointed but a nice score of 74″.
Den Beste said, ” It was a chilly start but the sun was out and the weather ended up being pretty nice out today. Great win for us today against some good competition.
The next meet is Monday, April 24, at Atlantic Golf and Country Club.
