The AHS music department is setting a different, more serious tone for the 2017 musical by performing “Fiddler on the Roof.” The musical is about a milkman struggling between sticking with tradition or letting new ones fall into place. Band director Jarrod O’Donnell leads the pit as well as aides the cast along the production trail. “The singing and acting is pretty good this year,” O’Donnell said. “Our leads and supporting cast are really strong. It’s going to be a good show.”
The musical premieres on Friday, March 10 at 7:30 p.m. at the AHS auditorium. It will be performed at the same time on Saturday as well. On Sunday, the cast will show their hard work one last time at 2:30 p.m. The price of admission is $5 for adults, $3 for children. Activity passes will not be accepted.
