FFA Competes at Districts

Ashley Freund and Conner Pellett named alternates to State.

On Saturday, March 4, 23 Atlantic FFA members headed to Red Oak High School for FFA Districts.

Connor Pellett received a Gold in Extemporaneous Speaking and Ashley Freund received a silver in Chapter Website. Both were named as alternates to the State level of competition.

Sophomore Connor Pellett was named State Alternate at District FFA CDEs in Red Oak.
Senior Ashley Freund was named State Alternate at District FFA CDEs in Red Oak.

The  team of  Lexi Freund, Braden Bean, Josh Rossell, and Nate Moen took the Farm Business Test. L. Freund placed first with a gold rating. Bean received a silver rating and placed fifth. Rossell received a silver and placed ninth. Moen received a bronze and placed fifteenth.

Tate Den Beste, Adriana Menendez, and Corri Pelzer received a silver rating in the Greenhand test at District FFA Convention.

Cale Pellett received a Gold in Public Speaking.

Cody McCreedy received Gold in Ag Broadcasting at Districts FFA Convention.

Alexis Boes and Carly Westphalen received Gold in Chapter Scrapbook at District FFA Convention.

The Chapter Program team consisting of Heather Freund, Boes and Westphalen received a silver.

Emily Saugling received a silver in Job Interview. Saugling also ran for the District Office of Secretary.

Taylor Kirchner received a Silver and second place in Oxy Acct Welding.

Tyler Comes received a silver in Ag Sales.

Tyler Petty received a Bronze and fourth place in Arc Welding.

The Conduct Team consisting of Katie York, Zade Niklasen, Tate Den Beste, Taylor Hansen, Craig Alan Becker, Adriana Mendez, and Nathan Behrends received a Bronze. The offices were as follows:
